Our drama and performance groups are a great way to build your confidence and communication skills, while exploring your creative side in a team environment. Whether you’re ready to take centre stage, or prefer a role behind the scenes, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Everyone is given the opportunity to develop at their own pace, through performance skills training or participation in our various ensembles which range from our street performance crew through to our RAD (Real and Diverse) theatre ensemble who are preparing for a new show in partnership with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

HAND Social and Life Skills clients have performed in a number of productions at QPAC under the direction of our creative director, who leads our drama performance program.

Car washing

HAND clients provide a great community service and are improving their money handling and communication skills through their weekly car wash. Supported by our team, they always bring a smile to their customers and a sparkle to their ride.

Digital & Media

Our talented Digital & Media group at HAND produce brilliant short films, showcasing team work and collaboration as they write, film, edit, and submit their work to global film festivals. Their productions are insightful and a joy to watch.

Art

Being a part of the HAND art group is a way for Rachel to continue to pursue her childhood passion for the creative arts. As a group Rachel and her friends explore a range of different media and look for opportunities to display their art in the community.

At HAND, we want to see you achieve and we provide a range of experiences to help make that happen!
